Gary Goss is a restaurant business veteran with a couple of great ones to his credit, notably "The Soup Kitchen", the first soup restaurant in the U.S. from 1976 to 1986 in Northampton, Massachusetts. "Andiamo", a modern, highly praised fresh pasta restaurant, opened in 1981. Gary has also been a restaurant consultant, helping open 8 restaurants.
A cookbook writer, Gary is the author of "Blue Moon Soup" (Little Brown 1999) a charmingly illustrated, award winning, best-selling guide to cooking for kids. He also wrote "Where Does Food Come From?" (Millbrook Press 2006) and is working on "Pizza My Heart", "Here's Cookin' With You, Kid" and "Peace Soup".
Gary has cooked on national television with appearances on the CBS Early Show and The Today Show. He has been interviewed on National Public Radio twice. An expert chef and caterer he also gives regular cooking classes. He enjoys what he does and brings a light-hearted approach to your table.
